Hi, I got a 82 280ZX 2+2 GL, I disassembled the car for paint and interior freshen up. I got everything else to go together, but I have this one plug that I can't seem to find out where it goes. It comes from the ECU on the driver's side and has two wires, yellow w/ red stripe and a black wire. I don't see anything around it that it would plug into, also everything on the car works so far so I don't know. I looked at the FSM, and i didn't find any 2 pin plug with yellow/red and black wires. You guys helped me out before and I would appreciate it if you would help me out now. Thanks.

So just tuck it behind the plastic interior panel? Is it meant for an extra accessory or something? Thanks for the quick respose.

 

I wanna say its for the Sensor light that lights up at 60K miles so you replace your O2 sensor. But I'm not 100% sure.

 

Nope... that O2 senor wire is on the passenger side at the dashboard connection block.

 

That's what I thought cuz I don't remember it coming from the ECU at all. I wonder what it is then.
