A month later and here's the update. With the z32 trans lined up in the shifter hole the stock oil pan sump sits right on the factory crossmember. So it's either build a custom pan or install an s13 crossmember and spindles, we're choosing a custom oil pan. With it sitting on the crossmember it sticks about an inch or so above the hood line so we are going to try and push the motor back, but the stock exhaust manifolds without the precats are going to be a tight fit. Making a new oil pan tomorrow and then we can test fit it!

With the excessive z32 shifter bracket (makes the trans 32.5 inches long) and a custom rear sump pan with the front of the pan about 1 3/4 deep and the shifter as far back in the shifter hole, it will put the pan about 1 inch behind the crossmember.
After a test fit today, the motor with stock exhaust manifolds will NOT fit, they sit almost directly over the frame rails and you cannot move the engine any higher because with it as low as it can go still sits about 4 inches higher then the hood.
