i have a 81zx with power doors which were bad so i went and found another 280zx with same body and they were power too so i took those of with some work to them they were good

I'm not sure what all is involved, but the lights are hooked up to a dimmer timer located behind the ECU. That is, if you want that dimmer thing. I think you can just hook the lights up to the normal dome light system.
The mirrors need to have the center console switches and wiring. You just plug it into power somewhere. Same with the power windows. You don't really need all the wires in between, because you can just figure out what each wire is for and re-do your own wires in your car for the passenger window controls.
I think power windows was only introduced in 1981 and newer cars... or maybe that was the auto light dimmer. If the doors have the lights in the lower outter corner, then the car has the auto dimmer feature.
