Very nice! I have a few i should scan a make available on my web site. I see you still have a bit of that grainy magzine look. Does anyone know how to get rid of that? I have Photoshop... is there a certain feature that helps to clean up the color?
Possibly scan it way oversize, do some sort of adjustment and then shrink it down to 1024x768?

If you right-click the .jpg image and choose "save as background", windows may run in Active Desktop mode which will be very slow. For the best performance, save the image to your computer and use a graphics program to open the image and save it as a bitmap (.bmp). Then just go to the desktop settings and find browse to the image and set it as your wallpaper.
