Had a 240 with an automatic once. Hope you plan on doing some work on the motor or a turbo engine swap. I wasn't happy with the performance with the automatic. Other than that the car looks great. I say go for it!

I would say go with the second car. It's more inexpensive and looks ALOT better. That orange looks good compared to that pale yellow. Just an opinion

yes, the orange one looks very nice, but im not sure why someone would buy new wheels and tires and then sell the car.

 

Knowing the cars are WA cars they are both probably rusted, you had better check that out carefully before you buy. Check frame rails, body panels with a magnet, under the battery, and inside the hatch. You may want to look for cars in AZ, or other southwest states. I bought mine in AZ and paid 3490 for a 78 with no rust. The rubber on the car is dried out, but rubber is easier fixed than steel. Good hunting. Oh, by the way, I agree the orange looks better, the "yellow" was more of a lime green as an originnal color, was it not?

well the yellow one is sold now, or at least not in the auto trader, and the orange one is on the front cover. yeah im picking one in wa state cuz i live here, but i cant even look at the orange one till i figure out how im gonna get to it (2 hours away) i guess im gonna have to rent a car to go car shopping since i cant convince any of my friends to drive me all over the state hehhe.
actually wa state isnt bad for rust, having owned over 45 cars since i was 16, only 1 or 2 ive ever owned had minimal rust...unless Z cars are super rust magnets? but thanx for the magnet idea ill definately do that since i have a bad eye for bondo.
