Where do these connectors go?

I decided to pull the dash out of the Z to fix the damage done to the wiring harness by the previous owner. Upon removal, I found three different connectors and I have no idea where they go to. I've read a few different wiring diagrams and I can't find these connectors on there at all.

All three connectors are coming from the part of the harness that drops behind the heater control panel.

This is a female two prong connector, and the wiring is green and black/white stripe.

This is a male two prong connector, and the wiring is green/white stripe and red.

The final connector is a female three prong connector, and the wiring is black - green - black.

I can't seem to find where these wires appear on the wiring diagram or on the supplement guide. They don't appear to go to the rear speakers either. I was thinking that maybe one of the two prong connectors were for the dome light, but the colors don't match on the light housing, plus the PO snipped the harness in the ceiling.

Yeah, what he said.

Let's try this approach. Suppose you make a list of everything in the car that either isn't working right or isn't working at all. We can look for the clues in your list.

Well...so far everything is working. I suspect that these wires might be for the dome light, fog lights, or heater panel light, as the previous owner snipped the wires for the dome light. I'm kind of at a loss for what these do.

Working currently:
Headlights
Taillights
Turn signals
Blower motor
Choke light
Map light
All gauges

If everything important is working, then what rogerz said above is probably right. The factory likely adapted a previous mass-produced harness design to each new body type and every added feature - and some revisions deleted or moved features. So the old connectors weren't needed any more but the factory left them in the harness anyway.

My Z31s have connectors hanging in space with nothing to connect to, both under the hood and under the dash. My turbo has different 'hangers' than my n/a. You may be looking at connectors that were never used for anything in your model but are located where they were needed in an earlier version. If everything original is working now, you're good.

You can run a feed to the dome light from the fuse box if you need it. Also check around for a 240Z that hasn't been hacked by its POs (good luck) and see if those connectors hook up to something. If they are not on the harness schematics, that tells you something.
