What can be taken off the L26 as far as emissions control, if i do

bought a used complete engine recently, it cam with headers and the entire intake and carbs. but looking at my existing motor alot of the air gallery piping and other little ERG stuff is missing or canceled. will it run without sed missing parts?

It will not only run but will run much better without all of that clutter. I removed every single device in my 72 about 15 yrs ago and have not looked back. I am still using the stock intake manifold and carbs, I used threaded plugs to block off all threaded connections to ensure that no vacuum leaks would appear. Take your time and remove and plug correctlyand you will not have any running problems. Check your state and local laws 1st to see if repeat inspections are req'd in your area. Good luck.

awesome thank you. the engine came with a set of headers and manifold and carbs. he said that was how he had it and i figured it would have been ok. thank you. so plug all the vacuum ports and everything should work. sweet!!
