Anybody got any insight on this. Any info or tips would be greatly appreciated as this project is a definite go for me. With time and money that is.

Well sorry not much info I can offer, you are pretty much on your own since its not a well documented swap. I do sortof wonder why you want to go with the VG30 over the L28. The only advantage I can see is slightly lighter weight, as well as distribution towards the center of the car more. As far as power goes, you are no furthur ahead as far as I know.

Either way, good luck and try to document the swap as well as you can for the next person to try it!

 

if you are going witha tt vg30 then you are gonna have space limitations......has been done but it is tight, i was gonna do a tt vg30 swap into my 240, but decided against it. too many hassles...for not enough power gain. i also looked into doing a rb26dett swap....but donor motors are too expensive...as of right now it looks like it will be a sbe/t-5 swap.....goood luck with yours.
