URGENT! Valve Lash Specs Needed
What's the proper valve lash for a 280Z with an N42 head? Is it 20mm and 25mm or 10mm and 8mm? my book has a typo with both settings and I don't know which one is correct. Thanks.

Cold settings are .20mm intake and .25mm exhuast..
Sorry it took so long to get the info to you , but it looks like you knew what they
were with the decimal missing.
the .008 in intake and the .010 in exhuast are the measurement in inches.

thanks for the reply. I just forgot the decimal point I was in a hurry, but I knew what I was trying to ask for. My "How to Rebuild Your Datsun/Nissan OHC Engine" book has text With .20mm and .25mm and then a caption for a photo that says .10mm and .08mm. Very confusing. Thanks for the help, thats the last little thing I needed to finish up the head gasket job. It's been down for four months because I blew the head gasket, and then I needed a new this and that and it just snowballed. Finnaly I am done, preety much, let me just go set those valves.
