In terms even the most inexperienced car person will understand...
TURBO = GOOD = FAST

A turbo is a fan that spins off of the exhaust gas. The fan has another side to it that sucks in clean air through an intake tube. That air is "forced" into the engine. As the engine would only normall suck in 2.8 liters of air per revolution, it could also only burn a certain amount of fuel that 2.8 liters of oxygen can burn producting 145 horsepower or so. The turbo forces in MORE air than 2.8 liters and therefore the computer tells the fuel injectors to pump in more fuel. That extra fuel burns good because there is more oxygen inside then engine and therefore you get 200 horsepower!
As you can see, getting bigger turbos pumps in more air and you can get even more power out of the same physical size of an engine! Wohoo! What a breakthrough in technology!

could you like... give up posting for a while? I think you should hold off on getting a datsun, and in the mean time get a little beater civic or a tercel, preferably in auto.
