does anyone know how wide of a wheel i can put on my 280z, i'm looking to go as wide as i can because of stabilitly and because i love the look of a wide wheel, i was thinking of a 225/40/17 or wider if possible, but i'm not sure exactly how wide is too wide...

 

What kind of suspension? Stock? Coil Overs? Also try using search

 

What Steven said. However, I'm running 16x8's on the front and rear with 245/45/16's.

But don't assume you can do the same. These cars vary somewhat from vehicle to vehicle. You need to measure before you buy.
