Strange Noise

Soon to be the proud owner of a very clean '76 280Z with minor rust spots, and when the guy tryed to turn it over it wouldn't stay running, possibly a fuel pump or something gone wrong which the guy was more than willing to tell and stuff. Now the thing is when the engine would turn over it would make this high pitched squealing / whining noise. Any one have any ideas on what this could possibly be? He said he's had people tell him it could be a bearing on the crank, but he thinks that possibly a valve is stuck or whatnot from the noise. Any ideas? Thanks for the responses.

Re: Strange Noise

Any of the Belt Tensioner Wheels will squeal if they are worn out or have been sitting for a long time. Easy and Cheap to fix.
