Hey guys...this doesn't always happen but today it took me about three tries to get my 83 280zx turbo started. On the last try...I pumped the gas pedal a couple of times and it finally started with a puff of smoke...not a lot of smoke but enough for me to smell gas and notice it. It's acting as if it's vapor locked but this also happens after the car sits overnight not after driving it around (plus I have the fan wired to kick on after I shut the engine). After getting her started after the smoke ordeal I went ahead and shut off the engine and restarted it and re-did the process a couple more times with no more problems....starts up with no problems and no smoke to be seen. Like I said it only does it when it wants to. Is this the beginning of something bad? Any ideas??? Thanks.

PS. My dad told me that it could be that the injectors are dirty?
