Restoration books for 280z

Just picked up my 280z and drove it for the first time today. It needs a lot of mechanical and interior restoration. What are the best books with pics and diagrams for doing tune-ups with fuel injection, steering, suspension, u-joints, driveline, rear end, clutch, bearings, brakes, etc. Not a really generic but specifically for the first gen Z. Mine is a 1975 production date is 5/75. Thanks

First get the factory service manual specific to you model year. The website "xenons30.com" has them for FREE. These are chock full of lots of information and they are specific to your car.

Then for restoration, get "How to Restore Your Datsun Z-Car" by Wick Humble. I think Amazon still has them.

Haynes and Chilton's manuals are OK as backup material. I found they can often provide another point of reference if the first two books didn't do it for me.

Thanks, I'll get them. I actually like the books instead of downloads. I'll see if I can find them if Amazon doesn't have them. Used would be fine too.

FSMs sometimes pop up on eBay. You'll want to make sure it's for a 75. There were some subtle changes over the 4 years of 280Z production.

Used are really expensive but I think I need one either way. Thanks!
