Resto Parts? Nissan, MSA, Victoria British
Restoring 77 280z (not quite frame up)
I've made a list of nore than 300 items I need to Purchase for my restoration. Trying to keep Budget in Balance, but definitely don't want to compromise quality. Motorsport Auto seems to be a favorite (as a beleaver in the free market system would like to spread the bussiness around) Victoria British seam to have inexpensive seals, but I've heard they are low in quality (more foamy than rubber). Nissan, well I'm not willing to bend over for quality.
I.E: carpet kits, I've seen many that look quite cheesy).
I.E: Body panel front valance: VB $39.99, MSA $99.99.
There are a mountain of fasteners I need (many were not on my car when I disassembled it). On my microfiche CD I have nissan part # but few with dims. Can a fastener shop cross reference Nissan part #'s or do I need to buy them in 50 lots from Nissan. These are only a few of the questions. Would like to hear from other Z car Fans able to to share their experience. Thanx

You should shop around MSA is very expensive. Try http://www.datsunrestore.com for your carpet kit and they can get almost any thing you need for cheaper than MSA, also try Jim Cook Racing. When I restored my car I got almost all my parts from those two vendors.
