Re: R32-Z?
thats really true, Im not a race car driver! straight up, I tend to get scared =)
my friend with the 240sx I mentioned, his car is in the shop getting upgraded. he has a sr20det, hes going to get aditional injector bungs welded in for his AIC, and a t04e and manifold, and IC upgrade, and brake upgrades (which he's needed since the turbo ka), and more I cant think of the rest =)...
he's a really good driver and is ready for more power, his goal is 400 or so at the crank, I think if I added up the money hes spent on his sr20det swap, upgrades, trial and error, dyno time, he's touching on 10-15k and 7 years of work, no easy or cheap way to get to 400hp =) not in his car anyways

Re: R32-Z?
I must admit I havent been in any REALLY fast cars, the fastest one I was in was a 400HP 200zr, I thought it was scary when I first had a ride, but I asked the driver and he said he doesnt even feel it anymore....you probably become somewhat "de-sensitized" after a while I'm sure.

Re: R32-Z?
I have just completed putting an R32 RB20DET into my 280ZX, a complete Skyline GTS-t front cut cost me $2000 AUD. Did most of the work myself except for intercooler piping and exhaust hookup and it cost me about $3500 all up.
Check out my website for more details.. it has some of info on what is required for the conversion.
