OIL COOLER ?????
ok now i got my new olicooler hoses installed they work perfectly!no oli dripping! By the way thanks again for the advice about buying oilcooler hoses from a hydraulic hoose manufactuer they seem much more reliable than the original hooses!!
But now its the damn oilcooler its leaking again! Does anybody have experince with the use of olicoolers from other cars? Because its pretty hard to find an original oilcooler from a 280zx here in Denmark! Maybe a cooler form a Saab or Volvo ??

Re: OIL COOLER ?????
I think even a generic oil cooler would work fine. Automatic transmisison oil coolers will work for cooling engine oil too. don't buy one used though, you want a new one so there is only one kind of oil in it from the start.

Re: OIL COOLER ?????
ok thanks Bleachzee ! but you think its such a big problem not knowing which oil that has been used? I´mean isn´t enough just cleaning it as much as possible ? that little amount of unknown oil shouldn´t make a big difference or what? A generic oil cooler is pretty expensive (in denmark anyway!!) I hope to find a cooler from a another car but which?

Re: OIL COOLER ?????
Well, make sure the oil cooler is not going to drop your oil pressure level to unexceptable level. I got a homemade one on mine. 5.0 block adapter, a relocation oil filter, 300psi 1/2in hose, and 3 pass oil cooler. And I forgot, I use the turbo auto oil pump.
