Re: nos
I'm not a real fan of nos either. It's sort of like a quick fix. I mean its only good in a straight line, and you have to press a button. Why not build a good NA engine- it'll be pretty fast without the nos, or go turbo and you can make it very fast. I've heard that nos stuffs up engines as well, don't know if this is true though

Re: nos
Well, to answer the question, yes NOS works on Datsun cars.
NOS has a better effect and can be used in greater supply on larger displacement motors. So the 2.8L 6 is probalby the best engine to use it on. You can drill out the intake manifold if you want port injection, or inject it right behind the throttle body. The large aluminum intake manifold is easy to tap into. Most of the 2.8L engines are using fuel injection.
There is an aftermarket intake manifold that adapts a single Holly 4-barrel to run all 6-cyldiners. I have seen a NOS setup put onto an engine like that.
This L6 is in a Datsun truck, and they use a 75hp shot.

Re: nos
do you guys realize that NOS is a company, not the actual item? Nitrous Oxide Systems is NOS. Using nitrous oxide on your car is more appropriate, otherwise I can have NOS by just putting a sticker on it.
and this post shouldn't exist in a technical forum - it's blatantly stupid
