My 2 Cents
I hace owned 1 z from every year from 70-78. If I wanted to build a total race car, not for the street. I would use a 240. But for a daily and autox i would have to say a 280 is the way to go. The interior fit and finsh is better and quiter. the extra weight is so little but it does help when diving into turns. All though the bumpers on the 280 are about the most butt uglies things i have ever seen.
The body on the 240 is a nicer look. But I believe in ground effects, so my 280 will look sweet. Now as for 260,s I have only had one luckily it was the wordt thing I have ever come across. I ended up taking to the desert and dumping 1000 rounds of ammo into it.I also think the only Z worth being called a Z after the 70-78's are the 90 300tt,s
But that is my opinion.
