i have painted my 280zx interior from tan to black.....now it works kinda but the paint does scratch if you bring a sharp object to it....i dunno what the roof is made of in 240z's but in my 280zx i took of the roof part and just glued on black material on there....work good ....(but honestly i will look for all black interior paint snt that great....)

Can't remember who posted it but, There was a posting for Dashboard repair. One of the companies that were recommended had a paint or dye that you could use on interior panels whether they were plastic, cloth or vinyl. Tried to do a search on it but, came up with negative results. Maybe just using the wrong words for the search.

so SEM? sticks well huh? sweet....i actualy wanted to go yellow on my interior cuz of black exterior would work well ya think? well thx....
and yeah black is killer in summer hehehe but t-tops air out the air

You guys have done it again. I was just talking to a friend about redoing the interior of my 78 280Z from white to blue to match the exterior. This SEM sounds like just the ticket. I am about to put the car up for the winter anyway so this sounds like a good snowy day project.
By summer I should have a blue Z with matching blue dashborad and blue and white interior. Not stock but pretty cool anyway.
