Intercooler question

I have an 82 280zx turbo motor and am putting it in a 77 280z and i want to intercool it cuz a friend of mine gave me a conquest tsi intercooler for free and I herd a lot of people say that it is good up-grade for our cars my problem is I dont know if my turbo will work with it or not, can anyone tell me anything about this problem it's a (stock turbo) THANKS

shouldn't be any problems if you don't have any air leaks. You should be good to go. I would also get a BOV because my turbo surges really bad without one with my intercooler hooked up. Have fun!
