its pretty minor.
can some one measure the opening of the center console box please?
i want to get a console saddle thing but i dont want the rear facing cupholder ZX one and i was wondeirng if the size is the same if i could get the Z one if its the same size and i moves my mirror switches.

Are you talking about for the 280zx? If so..it is not the mirror switches that are the problem. It is the emergency brake lever...that causes the forward cupholders not to fit. Hope that helped you out some. So if you are really up for fabbing..and want the forward cupholder. Try and relocate your emergency brake lever.

By the way, are you just looking for the measurement of the storage compartment opening ? If so, mine measures 12 3/8 x 3 3/4 .
