Many, many, many people have done a turbo swap into an S30 (240z-280z). And yes, the L28ET came in the 280zx turbo.

L = Datsun series motor.
28 = 2.8L
E = Electronic fuel injection
T = Turbo

ah jeez... didn't you already ask this? oh yes... here: https://www.zdriver.com/forums/showt...664#post197664

And you are asking if you can turbocharge an already turbocharged motor, then twin turbocharge it?

Let me ask you this.... DO YOU KNOW WHAT A TURBO IS / DOES?

EDIT... I'm expecting that you will say something like "a turbo makes you go fast!"

You CAN put twin turbos on your car.... but you will be wasting a lot of money and time as it's not worth it on this L28ET motor. If you want twin turbos, buy an RB26DETT motor.

I buy, work on, and sell cars... I've been through A LOT more cars than I have listed, these are just my fav's.

um... no really, when I say you can use google to find anything... I was being serious. Click www.google.com and type RB26DETT and you will find your answer pretty quick. Yay for doing your own research!

the better cost to benefit ratio, if you are after very high HP, is the RB. twin turbocharging the L28 is a complete waste of time, as there would be little benefit over the single turbo. how much power do you need? give us an idea of what you are trying to do, and we can suggest the best route.
