Hey anyone know of a good place to order tranny parts from online. I have a 72 with 1st n 2nd and reverse but my shifter wont stay in 3rd or 4th at all even if I hold it there. You have to kinda play with it in the spot for 3rd and it slpis in then just randomlly fades. I love the ratio's I think someone changed them at one point in time but I don't know. I just want to order new syncro mesh or whatever is causing the problem.

 

Thanks for the info, that would really suck all that for a 25 cent piece. I'm tearing it down here in a couple of days just to check it out. I have my original 70' tranny but it grind and makes noise in all gears. I have a 75' 4 speed that I don't like that is in my Z right now.

 

How much for the 5 speeds. What would shipping probably cost. I would like a 5 speed, that would mean I would have to get a R200 with at least a 3.90 or 4.11 to have the gearing I like. I've never done a rear end swap is it hard. I've done just about everything else, so it shouldn't be too hard. Thanks let me know.

 

I live in WA.. What condition of tranny would I be getting for $30. Is it all run down or still strong. I just recently got jacked on a tranny. It died after two months.
