Hey, I am buying a Gtech soon. I found a place that sells it for $100, <a href="http://www.performancess.com">Performance SS<a/>. I have read posts where people have actually compared actual 1/4 mile times with gtech times. Does anyone have this info or actually have one and like it? I have 3 other friends chipping in for it so $25 isnt too shabby. Thats about a run down at the real strip. Thanks again

As far as I have heard, they aren't too bad for accuracy on 1/4 mile times and so on. Apparently the real beauty of them is to compare 1 run against another, after making a few changes. (ie: tuning, upgrades etc) It would definately be nice to have some real world data and numbers to back up... "I think it feels faster now"

I'd go for it.

 

I love mine and it seems very repeatable but I haven't really compared to the track but it is very usefull reguardless.
