Re: Good Bye

"Can anybody give me a heads-up on anything I should know about my Z?" Or is this question a little too vauge?

I think if you actually want some info, ask a specific question. Don't expect people to write a bunch of articles on your car when you don't even know what you want to know. If you need help tuning the carbs, then just ask that.

Besides, you only posted once. Sometimes a post gets passed by and people dont see it. Or you can go to another board, but if you ask the same thing, you probably won't get very good response there either.

I would say on your 280ZX, you'll want to replace all the bushings with urethane bushings from Motorsport auto. The sway bar's rubber bushings are probably shot, and the new bushings in the rear end will help keep things tight and quiet. Besides that, if the car is in good shape you'll just have to fix what is broken.

I'm sure that your name that's consistent of 1s and 0s in binary will be greatly missed. I, for one, have shed many tears over this thread, and I don't know if I'll ever be able to forgive you for walking out of our lives!

I'm holding a going away party for you tonight, there'll be tons of booze and hot naked women. All Z owners welcome, bring your own rubbers

Re: good bye

I think that I have to agree with 280ZROCK on this one. This site doesn't really have all that much information. I have posted a lot of questions and have had to response. There isn't really that much here and there is a lot of wasted space. Take for instance the thread that soared well over forty posts about the guy who was going to make his Z look like a honda. What a waste of time. www.hybridz.org is a much better site for information. People there actually want to make their cars fast and know something about it. Don't get on 280ZROCK for what he said, because it has a lot of merit.

Re: good bye

on the contrarie (or however you spell it) if you describe your problem pretty thoroughly and actualy inform people about your car you get the best answers. Any question i asked they answered and it actualy SOLVED all of my problems!!
now if you put "my engine sounds funny" well hell that could be 100 000 problems , describe yourself and be thankfull even if you dont get help, people still try their best to answer, and if this site wasnt helpfull i dont know how come we got shitload of people chekcing up every day (me for one) for something new. dunt diss the site or the people if you screwed up on the post

Can any of you give me "heads-up" on anything I should know about this Z ?? ===> thats the reason your leaving this site ?? what the hell do u wana know about how to tune it ?? or just information about car (like its got a inline 6, its got t-tops, 4 tires, steering wheel, guages)???
well tahts my opinion good luck finding ur answers on other websites

I'm on hybridz, member 740something. I just don't respect people that blab things like "OH, you guys suck because you didn't answer my posts". I put up stock leftovers of my car for sale/giveaways, and no one responded to me. Does that mean I should go badmouth a message board simply because I didn't get what I wanted?

Perhaps a 280zx owner that knows the answer wasn't around or didn't catch the thread - big deal. This isn't the only board around, the whole concept of the internet is vast resources of information - and 280zrock seems to not understand that concept. But he sure did get a responce with "i'm leaving because your site sucks," granted it wasn't a good set of responces. People like that usually aren't missed.

Re: good bye

You guys totally missed the point I was trying to make with my post, but reinforces what I was saying. You guys waste a lot of time with posts that don't mean anything, like this one for instance. This is a waste of my time, and everyone else's who reads it. There are many posts on this site that don't get answered and the ones that do get the replies of people who don't really know a whole lot. Maybe, some of you guys could devote more of your time learning about cars and less time badmouthing others. Lets just leave this post at that and not waste anymore time here. Thanks.

Re: good bye

I like this site. I visit the other sites too, but this is the only site I see that has regular updates on it's project cars, and has articles dealing with the local and latest happenings of Z cars. It's like a mini magazine, only it changes daily. The other sites have more of a Q&A structure with little else. This site has more depth over the others.
