can anyone tell me where I can find a fusible link on 71 240z?
Everytime I turn the ignition on, I hear a clicking sound, but no go. Also, the wire that goes from ignition to the starter starts to smoke. What should I do?

Re: fusible link in 240z
The fusable link is usualy a green wire and connects to the starter at the same point the positive wire from the battery connects. Also there should be one similar on the alternator.
My suggestion is to pick up a Haynes manual

It has wiring diagrams for the 240 to help with troubleshooting.
