fuel injectors ?
the electric plugs need to be in order, but it doesnt matter which injector goes into which port. if you have the stock efi harness, its pretty intuitive, as the wires have probably been bent the right way for 30 years. if nothing else...
However, to go the right way, Nismopick has posted a link somewhere where you can download the FSM (that is "factory service manual") if you search for it (i.e. use the forum's search function) you will need to peel back the wire insulator to find the color of the wires, and look on the wiring diagram for the efi harness. that will tell you in which order they need to go.
next time, when you remove the clips, label them in order so you dont have to worry about that

All of the FSM's can be found on Xenon's websites.

I know on my 280zx there isn't an order of where the injector plugs go. These systems are batch fired. It shouldn't matter, I have swapped them out every which way. And the car still runs the same. I am sure the 280z is no different. Or am I wrong?
