Re: Which FSM?

From what I have heard, Nissan would sell you the non-turbo FSM for your year of car and then if you had a turbo you could buy the 1981 turbo suppliment. I also have not seen an 82 or 83 Turbo FSM.
The 1981 Turbo book should be fine for your car's engine, but a 1983 non-turbo FSM would also be useful to cover aspects on the rest of your car.

Re: Factory Service Manual

What do you need from the FSM? I have a Turbo 82 Manual, but it's only for a 2 seater, not a 2+2. Anyway, there are minor differences from an 81 turbo from the rest of the turbo years, like the ignition and stuff, so be sure to keep that in mind when working on your car!

Re: Factory Service Manual

Interesting. I have not seen a book that says 1982 Turbo on the front. I see lots of the 1981 around...

Haynes might have some info for you too. Their book covers 1979-83 turbo and non-turbo. The information is not as precise, but you can pick one up for about $5 on eBay so its worth the cost.
