I've seen weekend racers using the Thick 'Chicken Wire' found at most hardware stores. alot of them just 'wire' them to the front bumper brackets (internally). It looks alright, and the 5$ you'll spend on wire mesh will prolly save you from a 200$ rad repair

I used aluminum mesh sheet in "union jack" patern from the local lowes hw store to make my whole grille. I mounted it with off the shelf "L" brackets, I don't know if that would work for u or not.

I got those off ebay as "talbot replicas" for $50 for the pair. They are plastic. The guy selling them was a 911 porshe type, there are probably more of them around.

I used what is refered to as the Thick "chicken wire" as refered to above. I bought some rain gutter covers actually, and it looks pretty slick. I also have an MSA kit on mine. Just bent the grill piece and drilled holes into the fiberglass and wired them in. Go to my album and you probably can see some pics.
