I saw an article at classic zcar.com about that swap. I never liked the Chevy idea because they sit to far forward because of the distributor. If you go with the 4.6 you can move it closer to the firewall by about 2 1/2 inches, a definite advantage for weight distribution! I was especially surprised to hear that the Ford is actually 40lbs lighter than the L6! I just might do this swap myself someday. The guy made his own mounts but I saw a front mount for sale on ebay. I also saw a cobra supercharged crate motor on there, 390hp, holy ****, can you imagine that?
