Had my brake and dash light go out at the same time. The brake lights don't come on when head lamps are turned on but, come on if brake pedal is applied. Oh the license plate lights are not funtioning either Checked the fuses in the fuse box everything looked ok. I haven't had a chance to check the ground for brakes yet.

Any suggestions.

Let me guess? No running lights, only headlights? Mine was the headlight switch on the steering column. I can't tell what year/make/model yours is but mine was an '81. Hope it helps
