Re: compression test....
I just bought the car and when I saw the 170lbs on the #1 cyl. I nearly freaked out. I thought the 170lbs was too much for a 8.8:1 compression engine....but the chilton said that under tune up specifications that it should be within 171-185 for a stock motor, does this seem odd to anyone but me? I thought that 170lbs should be around 10.5:1 compression. Someone correct me if I'm wrong please....
And does anyone have a driverside gas tank strap for a 72' 240Z????
