Coilovers question
#2
I put the ground control setup on my 240. All you really have to do is cut off the old perch and weld on a ring which the threaded sleve rests on, but you would be best off running shorter struts too. There just isn't enough suspension travel. The fronts go on the back, and different front struts are used. This of course requires cutting and rewelding the strut tube. Jay wouldn't tell me what make/model they're off of. It didn't matter anyway since his price on Tokico's was competitive, and he supplied a special collar up top to use it with their camber plates. This mod has been around for a while now, and I've seen it in a few different magazines. As for the camber plates, I think you would be best off going with them too. This alone lowers the car an inch, and provides more adjustment than the offset control arm busings.
