Carb Options and other stuff

Right now I have a Holley 8007 390 cfm 4 bbl carb sitting atop my 6 with a very bad dead spot. I have already rebuilt the damn thing 2 times... what are my options, I really dont know much about carbs so I need help... What other choices to I have besides Holley. Right now I need a cheap fix because I plan on getting a 2.8 T
BTW it is a 240..

Any and all help is needed....

BTW I also need to know where I can find replacement floor pans for the car......

definately go the 240z S.U's, you can buy them rebuilt from Ztherapy, or try a wreckers. They are very versatile carbs

Or, if you want a cheap fix just deal with the "flat" spot. If the car runs, just use it as is while you get your turbo engine together. That seems the most logical.

or if it is just a quick fix, go with the later 260z carbs- I don't think anyone wants them, so they would be readily available till you get your motor (I'm pretty sure they can be put on- someone will correct me if i'm wrong)
