Car Hesitates.
My 260z is playing games with me. If I floor it from the lights and rev it quick it will Jerk and splutter. I believe it's a Vacumm advance problem but I'm not sure as to how to know. I'm pretty sure the carbs are running fine because If I accelerate slower towards the red line it will pull consistently to the top of the rev range. It's only when I punch it.
I also have a thermo fan fitted to the car which seems to put strain on the amount of charge to the battery and when I'm sitting in traffic with the lights on and Fan it drop on the voltmeter to 12 maybe a little above which makes all the instruments really dull any ideas? Should I fit the car with a bigger alternator? If so how much would it cost me?

Hi, i know you can get a vacuum meter from ur local store, that could help you with your vacuum problem if you have a vacuum problem, and you can get the what the readings are supposed to be from ur car manual if you have got one. i wouldn't think it would be the alternator but you never know
