best car insurance company to choose?
i just bought my '72 240z and so am racking my head trying to find a car company that will insure it and cover everything.. including the cost of modification work, add-ons if there is an accident or theft. most companies seem to say that they will only give you blue book coverage for collision if that. and classic car insurance will not let you drive it as a daily driver. does anyone have a suggestion based on what insurance company they have or have heard of?

Re: best car insurance company to choose?
I'm not sure how much you want to insure it for, but my State Farm agent insured it for what I told them what it was worth. I told them that replacement cost was $6,000 (which is about what it's worth), and they it was insured it at $6,000. It's not a big deal. The difference between a car that's worth $1,000 and $6,000 is pretty insignificant to them. I insured my 4Runner through them as well, and it was worth 4 or 5 times as much. In the whoel scheme of things, a Z is not worth much money - compare a fully restored Z to a new Mercedes.
