AWESOME! Stereo in a Z
I just finished the system in my Z, and it sounds Badass. Here's what i did:
First off I started with a Sony Xplod M-620 Active Black (52Wx4) Headunit. In the stock speaker positions I have an Infinity Kappa Perfect 5.1 Component Set, with the Tweeters Mounted on the Columns by the windshield. I Have 2 Infinity Kapppa 653.5 3-Way 6x9's in boxes mounted in the back, powered by a Pioneer 200W Amp. That amp is mounted to the back of the Box the Rockford Fosgate 12in HE Subwoofer is in, placed between the 2 6x9's. The sub is pushed by a Bridged Kicker 200.2 Amp that is under the floor in the spare tire well, yea the spare was old and rotted out anyways. The Amp Kits are Rockford Fosgate, along with all the speaker wiring being Fosgate Riot Gamma. I removed all the plastic panels in the back and sprayed the body down with spray on insulation. This system hits really hard since the car is a hatchback. There is very little rattle, even for a new car, let alone a 78Z. I thought i would give you guys some input cuz i've seen some people asking how to put a nice system in a Z. All you have to do is sacrifice a little space. By the way the stock alternator is more than enough to power the two amps, i've never had a problem with it. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

I'm in the Damn Navy, when the hell do i have time to play golf? And no the box doesn't slide around when i drive since its so heavy, however the 6x9's are mounted to the floor because they will slide around since they are so light.
