Today I went through the local pick a part looking for parts for my 280ZX. And I stumbled accross a very nice 260. The rear bar that is on the rear bumper is still there, looks flawless, except for a finger nail little ding, chrome perfect, except for a very little surface rust on the mounting brackets, right by the bolts. The engine is gone except for the bare block, tires gone, The plastic grill like thing is still there, uncracked, just little chips. The driver's seat is gone, but the leather like, stitched interior covering in the rear is still there, no rips or tears. Just feels really dry. Armor all will probably help. The passenger seat is still there, again no rips or stains, just kinda dry feeling. The rest of the interior is kinda still there and in pretty good shape. The front passenger side 260 Z emblem is still there. Does any of this stuff sound interesting. I could go back to the yard this weekend and take some pics and find prices if any one needs these parts. If no one responds, then I will not waste my time. I am posting here, instead of the classifieds, because I am not trying to sell anything. I am simply trying to help someone get the parts that they need for there car. I am not looking for $. I just hate to see these parts go to waste. I will get the parts from the junk yard and ship them to you, or if close meet up with me. Or go to the yard yourself. I would send the reciept for the parts too. Just pay me for the price of parts and shipping, oh I get a really good discount on shipping from my work too. Thats it. Let me know
