I have a 72 Z with a freshly rebuilt engine and remanufactured carbs.
The car was running fine without issue until last weekend.

When I started it, the idle fell off and it almost died. I started it again and
noticed gasoline dripping from the rear air cleaner. The front was also wet.
Cant figure out what happend.

Tried adjusting the idle adjust nuts clockwise. But there was no difference when I restarted it.

Engine has about 300mi. Also changed to elec fuel pump.

 

Your floats are stuck open. The bowls overflow into the air cleaner via the rubber hose on top of the bowls.
