this guy here has a T-5 tranny for sale at zcar.com. i was going to buy it from him but i just don't have the money. he seems to want to get rid of it pretty bad. he's also got a R200 3:90 that he wants to sell for $100 plus shipping. he didn't say how much for the tranny. here's his e-mail RollinDatsunZ@hotmail.com

 

If yer looking for a 5speed, get the tranny out of an old pickup, the Nissan trucks have a closer ratio tranny, and are GREAT for driving. i have one in my 260z; and i can chirp in the first 3gears.

and i manage about 90mph at 3800rpm in 5th gear with 3.90 rear gears.

 

thanks but would that trans be good with stock rear gears witch is i think 3:36.1
