I bought a '77 280z a couple months back and went to smog it but it failed because the EGR was not working properly. I looked closer at it and it seems like the previous owner plugged it on the exhaust manifold. On the intake side, the tube had been cut and a bolt was shoved up it. I got the bolt out of the intake side. Does anyone know of a way to get the plug out of the exhaust manifold? Is it reverse threaded? There isn't much room to work with and the plug will not budge no matter what I do. I have tried penetrating oil and a big breaker bar.
