280 fenders on a 240

are the 280 fenders the same as the 240?
by the same I mean do the fit the same and share trim lines...

Yes I believe they are the same in regards to lines. But the item that is different would be the area where the bumper bolts up..

But dont qoute me on that..

While we're talking about 280 and 240 swapable body parts, how about the doors? I imagine the 280Z doors are heavier because of federal regulation/crash standards. Do they, latch, and seal correctly? Have any clearance issues?

Nope the Latching mechanism's might be different.
At least I know thats the case for the 77, 78 models.

Also the inner portion of the door is different.

I think they fit but remember the turn signals.....they are different on 240's I think dont quote me either

The door frames for 74 & 75 are interchangeable. The door shells themselve from 70-78 are all the same. The door shells from 70-73 are also inter changeable. know I think from 76-78 the door shells were inter changeable. Then the fenders from 70 - 78 are inter changable
