About the 240 or the 260, do u reckon, even though it adds some weight and size, thats its worth grabbing a 260 2+2 just for the flexibility of having 4 seats. I know they are small sized and the shape of the rear is slightly different (for the worse), but its gotta be good to have 2 more seats........

 

Well, I'm biased 'cause I have a 2+2, but I reckon they're a good way to go if you do carry people around a bit, or have kids to think about. I take mine to parties and nightclubs and the extra seats are invaluable for ferrying crew back and forth between venues, at the end of the night etc, especially when I'm workin' a babe but she doesn't wanna be split up from her friends. Also they're the cheapest of the lot by a long shot due to being the most "undesirable" (I picked mine up for a grand, with registration), come with heavier springs as standard and once you do the engine mods can be just as quick. As for the looks, well, lowered with mags, spoilers, tinted windows and a good paint job and it'll still look great anyway. Plus you'll have spent less than you would just to buy a stock two seater!

 

well, yeh thats exactly what i reckon, if my friends wanna jump in the back seat on the way to a party its gotta be a lot easier with the 2+2, and as u say, the specs are almost the same on a 240 and an early 260, and with some engine work its performance has gotta be in the same league as the 240. Although finding a good condition early 260z 2+2 manual is a challenge, much less with the nice off-white interior. As far as being the most undesirable, i gotta say the 280zx .............. not to put anyone out
