1976 280Z New to Site

hey, i just picked up this 76' 280Z for a fairly cheap price considering the condition its in. it has a clean title with 108k original miles. i bought it off the 2nd owner, making me the third. i have inspected every common rust prone area in these cars and happy to say that she is cancer free. passed emissions with flying colors. the paint does not seem to be that old either, i would assume its a few years old. it has porsche seats, but i prefer the originals (on the to do list). also has a pretty sweet Jesus mural on the headliner lol, i'll probably leave it for now just fr ***** and giggles. I've always wanted an S30 and finally got one. decided to join the site to pick the mind of you veteran owners whenever i need advice or have questions. heres the car. let me know what you guys think.

Welcome to ZDriver.

The car looks good, hope it works out for you. We'll help you out where we can.

I see you're somewhere in Arizona. Assuming the car is an Arizona car as well which explains the lack of rust.

If you're interested, Phoenix has a huge Z club and Tucson has a small one.

Just joining one of the clubs gets you discounts at some of the Z specialty places like MSA (thezstore.com) and others (I believe). I've saved much more than my dues just from the discounts alone.

Thanks! It's good to know the benefits of joining a club. Who doesn't like saving money. The car is actually a California car. I drove to Los Angeles to look at it and decided to buy it. Then trailered it home. Picked it up for 4,500
