Wiring my tach.

Wiring my tach.
Okay... This is purely to save time for me.
The wiring in the Z's are pretty simple.
The main color for starting and ignition is Black, main for charging is white, for lights is Red, signals are Green, instruments are Yellow, Ground is Black also. Other wires are blue, and blue/green.
The wires needed to make the needle of the tach move should be the green coded wires. Anyone know what wire hooks to what? Example- Green/black to ground etc.
I have lights to the gauges. Fuel, oil, amp, temp are working along with the clock now. (Spent some time in the car today)
Just want to know what to hook up from the tach where the cluster of wires come from the back of the gauges in a cluster under/behind the glove box. That is where all the wires were cut by the previous owner.
If anyone wants to state that this was covered in some lost thread, please don't bother. I can figure it out faster by tearing the dash out I think. haha

I guess everyone is busy with graduations and vacations, myself included. You can download the factory service manual for the '76 which is the same wiring under the dash. It's at carfiche.com. Make sure you click on "cars" and then the '76Z. Sometimes it's busy and will say TNA. Just keep checking and it will be available. Takes a whle but well worth it. If you can't get it let me know your email and I will forward it to you. It's not in color but the wires are labeled and you can enlarge it cause it's in pdf. I'm leaving tomorrow am.
