Starter Relay

I need a new starter relay for my '76 280z. I am a little disappointed in the cost of the part from the dealership. Does anyone know the specs on the relay so I can try and find a universal 12v relay to use, or know of a relay that works?

I was looking through the factory service manual and the relay was listed as "seat belt (starter) relay (A/T only). My car was an automatic that was converted to a 5 speed. Can I can just bypass this relay, do I need it?

pepboys has rebuilt starters that cost about $35. mine dosent engage well. I would recomend buying a factory starter that would last 10 years rather than buying used or rebuilt ones every 2 years.
