Which small block?

I have come across two different small blocks from guys I work with, a 265 chevy and a 360 dodge. Both are fairly inexpensive, but I am not familiar with especialy dodge motors. Both have about 80k miles and both run well. Im assuming I could get more power out of the 360, but is it harder to get parts for, find a transmission, work on, things like that? Also, I kinda thought that the 360 would have higher torque versus higher HP. Any thoughts would be great.

Define 'fairly inexpensive'. There's virtually no swap for these cars that can come close to being as cheap as a Chevy 350 small block.

It's been done literally thousands of times, is well understood, has a large parts supply available and performance parts for the 350 Chevy is un-matched by any other make.

The Dodge will be un-charted territory and the 265 Chevy would be a waste of time in my opinion. You can pick up a complete 350 Chevy with under 80k miles in almost any major city junk yard for practically chump change. There's no shortage of Chevy full size trucks being hauled in on a regular basis.
