I am looking into building a street 240Z that will run 12/13's in the quarter but don't want turbo lag or poor lower RPM power - and would like to avoid swapping the Nissan engine for something else. Has anyone tried using a single twin-scroll turbo on a Nissan L24/28? I ask because the 2.0L BMW B48 engine in my Mini Cooper S has a single "Twin-Power Turbo" which provides a ton of low RPM torque, but still allows the engine to pull hard at higher RPMS. The torque curve is very strong and flat, which I like for general street driving.
