replacement fuel tank

replacement fuel tank

doesn anyone know where i can find a replacement fuel tank for my 78 280z? are they even available, i've checked online but no luck yet.

junkyard junkyard junkyard...and oh yeah...junk yard...ive seen pleanty at junk yards....even from z's that were in good running condition and were brought there cuz they were totaled

refurbished, ready to install, $350 to $450 (depending on model), plus core:

or, DIY via the junkyard, like Fairlady said.
Sometimes these folks have them, too:

Is yours really so bad that it can't be cleaned and sealed? Your profile doesn't say where you're located, but most larger cities have a couple of shops that can boil and seal tanks. Might be cheaper.

Yeah, had it done at the local radiator shop for $95 like new and leak tested.

thanks for the info. i've checked local radiator shops but no one seems to do it anymore.

i have a spare 1982 fuel tank if u want to come and pick it up for 10 bucks.. its rust free inside just needs to be tooken to a radiator shop to check for leaks.. let me know , Ken
